Ziplines: With over a mile of cable racing through the breath-taking views of the Cherokee National Forest, Raft One has an adventure for the whole family, even the grandparents! Never been on a zip line or canopy tour before? No problem, the guides will be with you the whole way to make sure that you have a wonderful time. Our zip-line canopy tour consists of many treetop sky towers, zip lines, suspension bridges and a cargo net located at the top of a Southern Pine Forest. Our experienced guides will lead you through the tour for a fun-filled adventure that anyone can enjoy. No experience is necessary! Anyone from 50-250 lbs can enjoy Ocoee Canopy Tours.

White Water Rafting: The Middle Ocoee rafting is the fast paced heart pounding section that gets you soaked to the bone. With rapids from class one to four, the Middle Ocoee is surely what the doctor ordered for that case of dehydration and boredom. Splashing down rapids like Grumpy’s Ledges, Broken Nose, and Table Saw, you’ll max out your fun meter. This section is the most popular among all Ocoee River whitewater rafting companies. Mountain Biking: While visiting the Ocoee River / Cherokee National Forest area, try mountain biking with Raft One! We have a fleet of Trek precision mountain bikes to fit any level of rider. You can rent and make the short bike ride to the trail head from our outpost, or we can help you get on the right trail through some the hundreds of miles of National Forest Trails. A helmet is always supplied with your rental. We can put mountain biking in with a package deal if your youth group would like add on a day of riding the trails of the Ocoee River area, Cherokee National Forest.

This was a very beautiful drive. It had a lot of overlooks and the trees were very beautiful. We also rode over to Joyce Kilmer Forest. This was a very nice hike and was amazing to see all the older trees. I would advise to take a bathroom break before the trip across the mountain.

Incredible drive through the Cherokee National Forest. Lots of hiking, waterfalls and mountain streams. Areas of the skyway are rather curvy, so beware. Some like to speed through this area either in road rally’s or on motorcycle. Have seen several severe accidents.
A MUST visit for all the beauty!

Nice smooth road that’s a lot of fun with beautiful sights. There’s plenty of pull offs for photos and small hikes and it makes a really nice scenic drive.
