We are only 1.3 miles from the Benton MacKaye Trail, a 300 mile trail named in honor of Benton MacKaye, the founder of the Appalachian Trail. Traveling on the Cherohala Skyway? We are just one-turn & 13 miles from the national scenic byway. Is fishing your passion? The Tellico River, nationally recognized as a premiere trout stream, is literally a step off your back deck. We offer 27-riverfront rooms right in the middle of the Cherokee National Forest alongside the majestic Tellico River. Green Cove Lodge & Store is geared for the outdoor enthusiast. Our comfortable, clean, and simple lodgings are perfect for a night’s rest after a day packed with fun. Each room is spacious, yet affordable. You’ll find fire-pits, grills, and gathering areas on property. As a note, we are completely off the grid. Your mobile phone will not work and we do not provide wifi. Pets are also NOT allowed.
